Komunitas sahabat silat yang tergabung dalam Forum Pecinta dan Pelestari Silat Tradisional Indonesia, mencanangkan Gerakan Peduli Silat pada tahun 2010 ini. Berbagai kegiatan telah ditetapkan sebagai rencana kerja jangka panjang untuk mengembalikan pencak silat menjadi tuan rumah di negeri sendiri. Sosialisasi pencak silat disepakati dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga masing-masing.
